Wacky Wheel Wednesday Part V

Posted on December 15, 2010December 15, 2010

I thought I would do things a little differently this week, by “different” I of course mean self-indulgent. Today, Wacky Wheel Wednesday is dedicated to two of my new wheels.  To be fair, I try not to talk about my car all too much.  In fact some people may not even know what kind of car I drive.  Ok, well maybe that is pushing it, none the less today is a me day.

-sorry

As you can probably tell already, I sport Work Emotion XD9s. Up until last year they were 17X9.5+17 on all four corners.

Like I mentioned, last year they were all one size, however things change. This is especially true when you let someone who is not accustom to driving RHD drive yours.

All those careful years of parking a few extra inches away from the curb don’t mean anything when you are not the one behind the wheel.  Hearing both wheels grind against  a median at 10 km/h is like nails on the chalk board.

So the story goes, Work XD9’s cannot really be refinished in the matte bronze, at least not in Regina.  So at the end of the day, I now have two 17X9.5+17’s and two 18X10+18’s.  I guess, I also have two spares for the track now.

Haha good ole LHD owners.. they wish they could be as cool as us RHD and claim “oh ya i know how to drive those things i have driven them lotttsss” ya heard that before… *Bang* there goes the rim or bumper. Thats why I had to get rid of my blue rims and purchase the SIR’s for my car. The ironic part. I thought it would be my girlfriend that would hit shit with it as she is driving it this winter. However she actually can drive and hasn’t even come close to hitting anything.. it was my own brother that managed to curb my rims.
