ZR Auto put together a charitable fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. The event was to benefit the Bonnyville Health Foundation and Hearts for Healthcare, and The Military Families Support Society that consisted of a car show, dream ride between Cold Lake and Bonneyville, and the main event of high speed runs on CFB Cold lake’s tarmac. There was an orgy of nice cars such as a Maserati MC12, Saleen S7, a couple Enzo’s including Zahir’s 860 rwhp specimen, Ford GT’s, twin turbo Lamborghini’s, LS1 Corvettes, a Spyker, Lotus’, etc.
The main event was the Ferrari Enzo racing a CF-18. The car trounced on the jet, and then for the low low price of $10K each, six other cars ran against the jet. It was all for a good cause!
The camaraderie between drivers was evident and we had a great time! I spoke with a great Regina rider named Darren Mosewich and admired his 1987 Lamborghini Countach. There were 4 other drivers in total from Saskatchewan with their machines in attendance.
