I was looking back though some of our old posts and came across our very first article which made me smile.
It has been about a year since Ryan Benoit, a fellow DODOlogic contributor, made one of our first posts. I think he said it best when he wrote, “like-minded people tend to seek each other out” which I feel everyone in Saskatchewan’s car scene has a tendency to do. However, in the last year we have made some friends that have helped us to expand beyond our familiar borders.
So as we continue to try to move forward it is always fun to look back and since it is been pretty much a year since we started, why not take the time to look back now? Ryan has a way of explaining things and sometimes…well…going beyond the meaning (haha) but either way I feel this is one of our best ways of explaining what we do and why we do it!
Ryan B: An Introduction
As far back a I can remember I have loved cars, and not just any type of cars but imports. To be even more specific Japanese cars, now some people may shutter at this very thought while others will understand me completely. There isn’t much in this world that makes me as happy as nicely tuned Nissan. Is that bad? Maybe. Nerdy? Hells yeah it is but it is the truth.
Wanting to prove that car culture reaches the prairies:
“we ran with the name thing and that is how DODOlogic came to be.”
In that first post Ryan asked, “What is DODOlogic?” Ryan attempted to define it, and things have changed over the last year but one thing hasn’t.
DODOlogic is collective of Saskatchewan car enthusiasts. It does not belong to one person but is shared by like minded people. DODOlogic provides a general platform for local car enthusiasts while also expressing an interest in all that is automotive..
DODOlogic has no real mandate but to perhaps entertain and inform, it will hopefully become a cornucopia of all things fun.
