This past weekend was full of nothing but zip-ties and burning rubber. Speedtech held their first Invitational Drift Demo at Auto Clearing in Saskatoon. Personally, I was blown away by how well everything was organized and how well everyone was drifting! It was amazing! With drifters coming from all over Saskatchewan, Alberta and even Chris and his S14 from Manitoba this event was a success before it even started!
One drifter who impressed me was Kyle Zimmer. For it only being his 3 or 4th time drifting and first time ever drifting on a bank he was absolutely slaying it! Awesome Job Zimmer!
With such a new sport like drifting coming to Auto clearing, the Drift Demo attracted all kinds of new people to the venue who all stayed right to the end!
With any drift event at a venue like Auto Clearing, there is always the chance of spinning out on the bank or worse…hitting the wall!
I was really happy to see some of the DMCC guys from Alberta out there showing everyone how it’s done along side the Saskatchewan drifters. The famous “Drift Farm” team was out doing what they do best!
Once again, I was very impressed by all the hard work and dedication put into planning and organizing this event. My hats off to you Speedtech, can’t wait until next year!
Nice!
Glad we shot Jesse’s car before it hit the wall. Sick pics!
