Local Ride: Old School Civic from a New School Guy

Posted on July 8, 2010July 8, 2010

At younger age I would have scoffed at the idea that a civic such as this could look so good, It goes to show you, that both time and people change. Josh P did an unreal job of messing up my perception of things.

When I first met Josh he was living the Nissan lifestyle in his Skyline. At that time there were all too many Skylines to match up with their drivers. However, Josh hit up the track and made a bit of a name for himself and got pretty good at drifting. For reasons unknown to me, Josh sold his car and got out of drifting. Needless to say I was confused, mostly because he went to an old Civic. I will admit, I did not see the potential of this little Honda, but as Josh began to put it together it started to make sense to me.

Josh built this car on a budget but did an impressive job of it. It goes to show how a little planning paid off. I think he think he nailed it with the wheel fitment and the ride height. Josh has a way of putting his stamp on things and making them unique. Josh of course seems to be bent on confusing me as he has sold the civic and is moving on to another project. I for one can’t wait to see what he does next.
