Local Meet: A Very “Awwd” Crowd

In the midst of 3 car shows and a photo shoot at night we somehow found time to attend and take some “snaps” of a little Subaru get-together. There were 7 Subaru’s that showed up (not bad for a last minute thing) as well as Tyler Pril’s 370Z and Dustin Brewster’s Mustang.

Marcus Gruber is responsible for, in my opinion, one of the nicest looking 09 Sedan’s I’ve seen. With his 17×9 Rota rims and a quick stage 1 upgrade, not to mention the classic world rally blue color, it really does stand out in the Queen City!

Going back to JDM, Jordan Black is the proud owner of this awesome RHD WRX. Jordan waited quite some time for this car to finally show up but in the end it was well worth the wait! This WRX is in absolute remarkable condition! The ebay exhaust really does sound great as well! (haha) It is definitely one of my favorite JDM cars that has been imported here in the last little while.

This car has changed quite a bit since being on DODOlogic in winter. Alex Bingham has revamped his 09 WRX with a little more power and a little bit of a stance. With a Perrin Devorced Downpipe, along with a stage 2 tune, as well as some BC Racing coilovers Alex has made this WRX wake up with some vengeance!

Everyone has seen my own car on here last month. I really haven’t done anything else to it but a new HPT CS styled front lip which I have managed to rip off 2 or 3 times trying to go up driveways now (haha) and decided to take out the mesh on the front grill.

Here is another JDM car and a fellow subaru owner which has been featured on DODOlogic this past winter. Marshal Robinson has had some engine trouble and issues over the winter but has certainly cleared that up with a EJ20 STi block. Along with 550c Injectors 18 PSI pushing out 300whp this whip is more than insane!

Last, but not least is Shawn Peters and his 2003 WRX. This WRX was bought in 2004 and has been built from the ground up since then! From the Prodrive OZ Rims to the huge FP green turbo this wrx is nothing to laugh about. My favorite part of this car is the JDM head lights which Shawn bough for the car. You might say “yeah, there just headlights” but thats where you are wrong. These headlights are very rare and if you can find them go well over $1000 for a O.K. conditioned pair. Hopefully in the future Shawn will let us do a proper shoot and feature on his WRX. Perhaps then Shawn will have an excuse to clean his engine bay 😛
