Yup, that is right — I went ahead and abbreviated Wacky Wheel Wednesday. I’ll give it a try for a while and see how it works. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to check out some local wheels.
Consider this a homecoming for one of my oldest car friends. Richard was one of the first people I met that shared my love for S chassis’. He has just finished post secondary and is now back in Regina. Richard acquired his 180 shortly after I got mine many years ago. I like to think Richard’s car resembles what my car could have been, if I was meticulous.
These are Richards wheels that he picked up from RHD Japan a few years ago. For the life of me I can never remember who makes them.
My favorite part about these pictures is that Richard just had them on hand. They weren’t originally taken for Wheel Wednesday. That means that for some reason over the winter Richard cleaned up his wheels, put them on his coffee table and snapped some pictures. Like I said, he is meticulous.
This wheel belongs to Nick, he was the third person in my home town to acquire a 180. That is obviously how we met. Anyone who has seen any of the old DODO drift vids will have seen Nick doing his thing.
I won’t get into Nick’s car too much as we have more stuff about him later.
