Well, here it is: our annual coverage of the Majestics car show held here in Regina.
It was nice to see some new cars there this year; according to their radio advertisements, 80% of them were different from last year.
The beefy tires on this thing caught my eye, along with the overall cleanliness of the build. You know they’ve put a lot of attention towards the details when they lay mirrors down to show you how immaculate the undercarriage is.
The size of the turbo on this drag monster made me stop in my tracks. I didn’t get a chance to see if they displayed the numbers this boosted V8 puts down, but just looking at it was menacing enough.
Pearlescent paint has always amazed me, and the combination of these two colours looked cool.
Our never-ending winter seems to have taken its toll on the The Canada Center; water catches were placed all over the ceiling and the water ran into big rain drums.
This 1929 Model “A” is a prime example of the American car scene. All-out restorations will never get old!
The show wasn’t as big as many previous events; there was lots of open space as you can see here. Maybe it was due to the weather?
I was glad to see some guys from Redline Society made the trip from Saskatoon to put their whips in the show. Brady Taylor’s Datsun was there.
I was pretty pumped to see one of my first-ever prints on display too.
I hadn’t seen Tyler Kuntz’s Nismo 350Z before, but it’s absolutely gorgeous. It was nice to see a Nissan executed with such high standards.
Tyler Lakeman’s S2000 is looking great. Love those buckets to death!
Stay tuned — part two of my Majestics coverage will be posted soon.
